Vanessa Perez is a Pre-Health Advisor in the Pre-Health Professions Advising Center, working with students who are preparing for graduate level health professional programs in medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, occupational therapy, optometry, physician assistant, and other health-related careers. Prior to her work as a Pre-Health Advisor, Vanessa worked for the U of A College of Medicine-Tucson, Office of Diversity & Inclusion. Vanessa is from Phoenix and worked for South Mountain Community College and Arizona State University. Vanessa earned her B.A. from Arizona State University and her M.Ed. from Northern Arizona University. Vanessa enjoys reading, eating at her favorite restaurants and spending time with her 3 year old daughter and family.

Stephanie (Rollins) Watson is the Coordinator and Senior Advisor in the Pre-Health Professions Advising Center, working with students planning application to graduate level health professional programs such as Medical, Optometry or Dental School. She is a long-standing member of the National Association of Advisors in the Health Professions and has published articles in that organization’s national journal. She is a graduate of Northwestern University and earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling at Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts. Although she has 18 years of experience as an advisor, she also worked as a public school counselor, in business as a technical writer and web developer and even worked 6 years as a police officer. She has two dogs, sings in several choral groups and enjoys spending time with her 4 grandchildren.

Josie Gin Morgan is a Pre-Health Advisor. She is a native Tucsonan and First Generation Chinese American. Josie received her BS in Family Studies from The University of Arizona and her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona University in 1995. Josie has been working in Higher Education for over 20 years. She has worked at Pima College as well as The University of Arizona College of Medicine and main campus. In her leisure, she enjoys spending time with her husband Carl, her two dogs, watching movies, traveling, and cooking. As an Arizona Master Florist (AzMF), she enjoys floral design whenever possible.
