The Pre-Law Thematic Minor is designed to prepare you for a career in law. You will have the opportunity to research topics, analyze information, and think critically. These courses are not mandatory for law school admission but are recommended if you do not have a strong interest in another minor area. If you wish to declare the Pre-Law minor you can do so by meeting with the Pre-Law advisor.
The Pre-Law Thematic Minor (PLW) requires 18 units; 12 of these units must be upper division (300-400 level). A 2.00 grade point average (GPA) is required for all university credit work in the minor.
