- Enjoy a reading by Dr. Gary Nabhan from his new book, Agave Spirits (*The Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) is one building to the east of ASM)
6:30 p.m. at Arizona State Museum:
- See objects made from agave fibers and learn about the importance of agave from pre-contact to the present, with Drs. Paul and Suzanne Fish.
- Hear about mezcal production from Francisco Terrazas.
- Grab some Tucson Agave Festival swag and learn what's planned for the April event.
- Enjoy street tacos from Agave House.
- Taste Parch's non-alcoholic agave beverage, Spiced Piñarita.
- Be serenaded with songs from Mexico by Tradiciones.
- Get a free ticket for a mezcal tasting at Agave House following the event (only 20 tickets available, drawing to occur during the event).
