The Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) awards various types of funding to students, faculty, departments, and organizations to promote study, research, curriculum, and outreach related to Latin America.

Faculty Funding
We support affiliated faculty by providing funds for travel grants and professional development.
Student Funding
We support undergraduate and graduate students both within and beyond the the Latin American Studies department through a variety of programs.
Event Funding
We offer funding to support events that promote a greater understanding and awareness of Latin America across disciplines.
Expectations for Acknowledgment
We ask that funding recipients acknowledge the Center's role in supporting their research and/or programming.
