As a Title VI National Resource Center, the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Arizona requires funding recipients to formally acknowledge the Center's role in supporting their research and/or programming. This acknowledgement should include a statement such as, "This (research, presentation, work, article, programming, etc.) is sponsored by the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Arizona through grant funding from the Title VI National Resource Centers program. The content of this programming does not necessarily represent the policy of the U.S. Department of Education, and you should not assume endorsement by the Federal Government."
The expectation is that recipients expressly acknowledge CLAS support in any final products or outcomes (posters, papers, theses, dissertations, etc.).
Poster displays and presentations should include the CLAS logo, which can be downloaded here: https://arizona.box.com/s/y3hmsgi2hmrwacgbutiiuk5ln1potb0h
All co-sponsored event marketing materials must include Title VI recognition with language such as, "This (event, programming, workshop, etc.) is sponsored by the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Arizona through grant funding from the Title VI National Resource Centers program. The content of this programming does not necessarily represent the policy of the U.S. Department of Education, and you should not assume endorsement by the Federal Government." In addition, materials should include the CLAS logo, which can be downloaded here: https://arizona.box.com/s/y3hmsgi2hmrwacgbutiiuk5ln1potb0h
CLAS requests that funding recipients share all publicity and marketing materials with CLAS at least 10 days in advance. We will promote through our listservs, website, and social media.
