Educators and librarians, join us as we celebrate the award-winning book Daughter of the Light-Footed People with author Belen Medina and illustrator Natalaia Rojas Castro. Belen will read aloud this inspiring true story about Lorena Ramírez, a Rarámuri athlete who captured the world’s attention by running ultramarathons in traditional dress, honoring her indigenous heritage. This is a virtual read aloud that can be live-streamed in your classrooms!
