Student Spotlight: Jake Dean

CLAS graduate student, Jake Dean, was awarded an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. This will support his research exploring the ramifications of conservation-as-development and green capitalist pushes for whale-watching ecotourism on small-scale fishing communities in Baja California Sur. We wish him the best in his PhD program at UC-Santa Barbara. Congratulations!
