Faculty Spotlight | Dr. Melissa Fitch

CLAS-affiliated faculty and University Distinguished Professor Melissa Fitch has received a $137,000.00 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for a project entitled "The Road is Made Upon Walking," which was inspired by the ancient pilgrimage of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Fitch will trace the metaphor of life as a journey/path through the arts and humanities across different regions in the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking world, including the Iberian Peninsula, Brazil, Peru and Bolivia, and our US/Mexico Borderlands.
