The 3rd Annual Latin American Studies Symposium (ALASS) was a success!
Big thanks to our amazing student organizers — Alvaro Diaz, Brenda Machado, Diana Ramos, Sandra Cecilia Madrid, and Kristine Witko — for bringing this event to life.💫
We also extend our gratitude to Dr. Nadia W-Charles for delivering a powerful keynote address on the racial paradox between Haiti and the Dominican Republic, as well as the Confluencenter for Creative Inquiry and the Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC) for supporting this student initiative!
