Celebrate the Spirit of the Southwest at Agave Heritage Festival
April 10–13, 2025 | Tucson, Arizona

Tucson’s Agave Heritage Festival is more than a celebration—it’s a regional movement rooted in sustainability, culture, and connection. With Tucson officially recognized as the City of Century Plants and home to over 100 varieties of agave, AHF is a four-day experience that brings together thought leaders, producers, chefs, artists, and tradition bearers from both sides of the border.

The 2025 festival features:

  • Agave Fiesta Grande — A signature tasting event hosted at Borderlands Brewery, spotlighting more than 50 artisanal and ancestral agave spirits from across Mexico.
  • Guided Tastings Across Tucson — Bar takeovers and curated agave tasting experiences at some of the Southwest’s most celebrated spirit destinations.
  • Agave Renaissance Summit — A convening of cultural and environmental leaders focused on building cross-border coalitions for agave sustainability and cultural preservation.
  • Traditional Agave Planting at Mission Garden, along with free public lectures, bar programming, and guided exploration of Tumamoc Hill—one of Tucson’s most sacred and ecologically significant spaces.
Together, these events illuminate the agave’s vital role in ecology, cuisine, and cultural resilience—while inviting the community to taste, learn, and connect.
