CLAS at LASA 2024 Conference

The Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) had an inspiring time at LASA 2024 conference in Bogota, Colombia!

Our faculty and staff were thrilled to participate in various panels, engaging in important discussions on Latin America.

We're especially proud to have supported two impactful initiatives during the conference: one focused on hand-made outdoor products and another on coffee production. Both initiatives are led by ex-combatants who are reintegrating into society, promoting sustainability and economic empowerment in their communities👏🏽

It was a privilege to be part of such a dynamic event and to contribute to initiatives fostering change in Latin America.
