Alvaro earned his dual B.A. in Political Science and Latin American Studies from the University of Arizona. With deep roots in the Arizona-Sonora region, he is interested in topics related to international policy and natural resources management. With a focus on Mexico, Alvaro wants to dedicate his research to water policy in urban areas and its effects on peripheral communities.
