Diego Meringer

Diego Esteban Meringer is a recent graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Political Science. Diego distinguished himself as Harper Conference Finalist and presented his undergraduate seminar paper at the 19th Annual Frances G. Harper Student History Conference at The University of Texas at El Paso. He is interested in the evolving patterns of great power engagement in Latin America, particularly how U.S. and Chinese foreign policy strategies intersect and compete across economic, political, and cultural domains. In his free time, he likes to play a variety of video games, work out, read history books, and watch the UFC.
