Ian Wan

"My degree in Latin American Studies gave me a strong foundation in understanding the historical and social forces shaping diverse communities, which deeply influenced my commitment to equity-driven urban planning. I valued its interdisciplinary approach, which pushed me to connect classroom learning with my own lived experiences and think critically across cultures, languages, and systems—shaping how I engage with communities in my work today."
Ian, a Tucson, Arizona native, holds a B.S. in Latin American Studies and an M.S. in Planning. His professional work focuses on creating effective community engagement strategies that directly inform policy development.
