Pat has a wide-ranging educational background and experience across multiple fields, especially as it relates to social justice, human rights, and social determinants of health. As part of Campus Health's Evaluation Team, her expertise is in qualitative and empowerment evaluation.
Research Interests: Popular mobilizations, civic advocacy, insurgent movements, health policy, gender and politics, religion and politics, gender and health; transborder collaboration; women and HIV / STD prevention strategies in the border region; curriculum development for community-based health education; non-violence theory and praxis; prisons and re-entry issues (particularly among immigrants and minorities) post-release.
